Mrs. Josephine (Cucchiara) Angelo, age 93, died unexpectedly on Friday at Whidden Hospital in Everett. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew V. Angelo. Born in the North End of Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Susanna (Ferrante) Cucchiara. She was raised in the Somerville and Medford area, and lived in Saugus from 1955 to 2012 before she moved to the Prospect House in Revere. Mrs. Angelo was a salesperson for over 20 years at Sears before she retired in 1981. Josephine devoted her life to her children and loved to care for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three children, Marysusan Brandano and her husband Vincent of Revere, Leonard Angelo and his wife Joanne of Atkinson, NH, Steven Angelo and his wife Virginia of Falmouth; eight grandchildren, Lenny, Andy, Erin, Andrea, Stephanie, Christine, Kimberly & John. She also leaves 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Angelo was predeceased by her sister, Lena Russo. SERVICE INFORMATION: The funeral will be held from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
