Josephine K. Saliba, 87, died quietly on Saturday June 11, 2011. She leaves three children, Michael F. Saliba and Fred G. Saliba of Memphis, Tennessee and Angelina S. Cowles of Cave City, Arkansas as well as five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She dearly loved the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion where she was a member of the Daughters of the King, the Altar Guild, the choir and the Lay Eucharistic Ministry. Her body will be laid to rest in Memorial Park beside that of her husband, Fred N. Saliba. A requiem mass will be held at the Church of the Holy Communion located at 4645 Walnut Grove Road at 10:30 AM on Wednesday June 15 followed by a reception in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church of the Holy Communion, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Food Bank.
