Josephine Zorc, 85, of Rye, passed away Oct. 28, 2009. Survived by her children, Mary Ann Thompson of Pueblo, Joseph (Barbara) Zorc of Rye, Frank (Terry) Zorc of Rye, Ann (Joe) Velez of Houston, Texas and Thomas (Bonnie) Zorc of Canton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. Preceded in death by her husband, Stefan Zorc on Jan. 24, 2006. Josephine was born to Rok and Jozefa Zalaznik on March 20, 1924, in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia. She loved gardening, crocheting and mowing the lawn! She was very dedicated to her church. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at St. Aloysius Church, 8006 Hwy. 165 W., in Rye, with Msgr. Marvin Kapushion as celebrant. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Rye. Those who desire may make memorials to St. Aloysius Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 186, Rye, CO 81069.
