Chewning, Joyce A., 88, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Irving, TX. She was born to Louis and Ella (Dudley) Tomek in Cove, Arkansas. A Wichita resident for nearly 60 years, Joyce moved to Texas in 1999 to be near her daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Arthur Chewning. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Donna (Paul) Saliba of Mesa, AZ, and Brenda (Bruce) Schleif of Irving, TX; brother, Boyce Tomek; sister, Patsy Singleton; grandsons, Jake Saliba, Shay Saliba, Brett Schleif, and Bryan Schleif; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation with family: Friday, 5 – 8 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Saturday, both at Lakeview Funeral Home.
