Joyce E. Luker Gray

Joyce E. Luker Gray, 80, of Hot Springs, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Born November 13, 1930 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Jack and Pauline Anderson Luker, she was of the Baptist faith and was baptized at Mt. Olive Community Church. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 4536, Hot Springs, AR. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Gray; son, Paul Foshee; brothers and sisters, Jacquelyn Gardner, Richard Luker, Marilyn Thomason, Edna Sears and Darrell Luker; step-children, Marvin Gray, Edward Lee Gray, Tehani Gray and Frances Lee Homan.

Survivors include five sons, Bud (Pat) Foshee, Mike (Janet) Foshee, Joe (Danna) Foshee, Bob (Des) Foshee, all of Hot Springs and Jerry (Youssef) Foshee of Saratoga, California; two daughters, Jeanne (Allen) Sheets and Susan (Billy) Gray, all of Hot Springs; two step-daughters, Nita (Eddie) Jolly and Roberta Shafer, all of Hot Springs; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters, Betty Rios, Juanita Valesquez, Helen Graves, Wayne (Joanne) Luker, J. B.”Bucky” Luker, Jerry Luker, Paula (Don) Cheek and Cheryl Nelson, all of Hot Springs and Brenda (Lonnie) Breshears of Texas; sisters-in-law, Edna (Charlie) Howell and Vivian (Jim) Erichsen; brother-in-law, Zane (Joyce) Gray.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God, 3540 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71913 with Reverend Doug Adams and Reverend Tony Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Golden, Joseph Killian, Darby Foshee, Joey Foshee, Matthew Sheets, Brandon Foshee, Adam Cox and Jeremy Golden. Honorary pallbearers are Leona Killian, Josie Williams, Howard and Vivian Nash, Vivian and Jim Erichsen, Angela Golden, Lea Ann Jimerson, Terry Homan and Jimmy David Foshee.
