Joyce Elsie Dibble, 58, our precious daughter, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully Monday, January 17, 2011.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 22, 1952, to Wallace and Frances Dibble. She attended Columbus School, SLC.
Joyce loved being with family, anything pink, movie stars, writing on yellow paper, tearing up magazines, teasing, and loved making us smile. She brought great joy to all who knew her…especially her family. We love her and will miss her dearly.
Joyce is survived by her loving mother Frances Marian Dibble and seven siblings: Kathy (Jay) Brasher, Holladay; Steve (Becky Ebert), Fruit Heights; David (Jill Hansen), Sandy; Karen (Gary) Anderson, Martinez, California; Wendy (Ferrin) Flanders, Centerville; Barbara (LeRoy) Larsen, Draper; Michael (Julie VanWagenen), South Jordan; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Wallace Reid Dibble, who we know greeted her with open arms Monday night.
The family would like to thank those from Care-Source Hospice, Neighborhood House, Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center, and Karen Chandler from Rise Inc. who lovingly helped care for Joyce.
A private memorial service for the family will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at the Holladay North Stake Center, 4395 South Albright Drive (2145 East). A public viewing, open to friends and family will be held one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Holladay Cottonwood Memorial.
