Joyce “Joanne” Bolla, 80, of Hobe Sound, Florida, died April 25, 2011 at the Parkway Health and Rehalibiliation, Stuart. Florida.

Born in Addison, Michigan, she lived in Hobe sound for 43years, coming to Florida from her birthplace. She graduated from the Academy of Beauty in Adrian, Michigan.

Before retiring she was the bartender and bar manager of VFW Post 10132 in Hobe Sound for many years, where she was also very active as a volunteer.

Survivors include daughter Danette Fitzgerald of Port St. Lucie and Jonette Fitzgerald of Navare, Florida; sons, Scott Schultz and Mike Schultz, both of Michigan; a brother, L.D. McBean of Brooklyn, Michigan and a sister, Ida Brown of Manitou Beach, Michigan and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Tony Schultz.

SERVICES: There will be a memorial gathering from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on May 1, 2011 at VFW Post 10132, Hobe Sound.
