Joyce M. Cook, age 77, of North Canton went home to be with her Lord and savior on Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was born August 4, 1935 in Louisa, KY, to the late Samuel and Goldie Sammons. Joyce had a passion for animal's, loved helping people, cooking meals, reading and watching HGTV. For nearly 60 years Joyce served the Lord faithfully beside her husband and loved sharing her faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and sister, Joanne Thompson; Joyce is survived by her children, Dale Cook (Debbie), Kathie (Rick) Powell, Lynne (Bill) Graber and Lori Lantz; 10 grandchildren, Tara, Holly, Brittany, Jenny, Jeremy, Katie, Matthew, Amanda, Seth and Faith; six great grandchildren, Alexandra, Brogan, Ronan, Rykan, Elodie Rae and Lucy; one great great grandchild Jordan Ray; brothers, Kenneth and Rick Sammons both of KY; and sisters, Donna DePrato of Ohio and Robyn Hatton of TN. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel from 6 to 8pm and on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 10 to 11 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00am with Paul Johnson officiating.
