Joyce M. Kimbrough, age 75, of 1725 Coney Road, Vienna, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Born in Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Price Mixon and Pearl Fields Mixon. She worked as an administrative assistant at Woodward Academy in College Park for many years. Mrs. Kimbrough was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and the widow of Charles Kimbrough. Survivors include: Son: Kenneth Kimbrough (Brenda) of Cumming Daughter: Elizabeth Coggins (Marion) of Stockbridge Brother: Ed Mixon of Greer, SC Grandchildren: Kristina Marie Bell, Alexander Kenneth Kimbrough and Megan Ashley Kimbrough Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, September 4 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in Vienna City Cemetery. The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, September 3 at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to Autism Society, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814. Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
