Juan "Whittey" Garcia, 65, passed away on October 7, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 8, 1946 in Pasadena, Texas to Trinidad and Brigida Garcia. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years of marriage, Teresa Pena Garcia; daughter, Margaret Gutierrez and her husband Fernando; sons,Joe Medrano and his wife Jay Dee, Johnny Garcia and his wife Maria, Edward Garcia and his wife Evelyn; grandchildren, Fernando, Jr., Adam, Nicolas, Joshua, Johnny, Jr., Jose, Victor,Juan, Jose, April and Pedro; great grandchildren, Nathan, Eli, Princess Serenity, Noah, Antonio,Maddison and Illianna; sisters, Sofia, Olivia, Lupe, Mary Lou and Carolyn and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
