Juana J. "Juanita" Salinas, 87, passed away on Wed., January 11, 2012. She was born on August 18, 1924 in Raymondville, TX.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Ismael "Mavel" Salinas; parents, Vicenta and Zenaido Perez; 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 4 loving daughters, Victoria Salinas Colorado (Jorge), Yvonne Salinas, Gloria Salinas Proctor, and Melva Salinas Suarez (Michael); granddaughter, Carrie Beth Suarez-Rosas (Miguel); her beloved dog, Whiskey, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bertha Sanchez.
She will be greatly missed, and we will always have her deep in our hearts, until we all meet again in Heaven.
Visitation will be held on Mon., January 16, 2012 at Crespo Funeral Home, from 4-9 PM, with a Rosary being recited at 7 PM. The funeral procession will depart funeral home at 8:45 AM the following morning, for a 9:30 AM interment at Houston National Cemetery.
