Juanita Almeda Felisbret was born on May 21, 1931 in Middletown, New York to the late Juan de Batista Felisberto and Irene Howard. She had one son, the late Virgilio "Papo" Burgos. Juanita attended Middleton High School. She worked for Melnore Industries for thirty-five years in Moonachie, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Skeels, George Baptist, Tomaz, August, Joseph, Edna Hamilton, Irene De Groat and Margaret Alves. She never forgot anyone's birthday. She recorded each event and sent a card at least a week ahead. Juanita leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Mary "Betty" Garrett; brother, Marcellus "Petey" Felisbret; four grand-daughters, Shanika Burgos, Niky Burgos Tantanya Hodges and Maya Burgos; four great-grandsons and one great-grand-daughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Juanita would quote a saying by Helen Keller entitled "Harmony" "The Best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt within the heart."
