Judith Anne McKinney, 71, of Mojave, CA, passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2011. She was born March 26, 1940, in Altadena, CA. Her parents were Ernest Lester Moody and Velma Laverne Stowman-Robinson. She grew-up in West Covina, CA, and graduated from Covina High School. Judy lived in the Antelope Valley for 49 years, and had worked at AV Hospital and Kern County Social Services. She loved cross-stitching, sewing and her pug dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Cletus; sons, Mark (and Rosy) Bickel, of Las Vegas, NV, Wendell (and Melissa) Bickel, of Palmdale, CA, and Ron Bickel, of Nampa, ID; a daughter, Leslee (and Mike) Cook, of Lewisville, TX; her grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Janet, Tiffany, Carolyn, Mike, Justin, Kevin, Alyssa and Ronnie, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held August 10, 2011, at 1:00 PM, at the Mojave Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with one hour of visitation time starting at noon. Burial will be private.
