ELIZABETHVILLE- Judy A. Koppenhaver, age 54, of W. Broad St. passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at her residence. She was born on Dec. 3, 1956 in Halifax, PA, the daughter of the late Leroy Shertzer and Alice Miller Shertzer who survives her of Gratz. She was a member of Trinity UM Church in Elizabethville. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband Edward Koppenhaver, a daughter April Koppenhaver and her fiance Edward Walls, Jr. of Tower City, a son Andrew Koppenhaver and his wife Maria of Halifax, two grandsons Dakota Walls and Brayden Koppenhaver, three sisters Doris Kessler (Rodney) of Halifax, Donna Boyer (Randy) of Gratz and Joyce Shertzer and fiance Neil Coley of Harrisburg, a brother Kenneth Shertzer (Cindy) of Halifax. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank Dr. Gregory Willis and the staff of Women's Cancer Center of PA and the staff of Harrisburg Hospital 11th floor. Donations can be made to Pinnacle Health Hospice 301 One Norwegian Plaza Pottsville, PA 17901. Arrangements by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Elizabethville.
