Julia Kay Herron of Manton passed away October 19, 2011 at her home. She was 57. Julia was born April 28, 1954 in Cadillac, to Stanley Frank and Thelma Irene (Nicholas) Herron. Julia enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, working in her garden, and crocheting. Julia is survived by her mother, Thelma I. Anderson, of Cadillac, her daughters, Deanne West, of Missouri, Kimberly Hunt of New Jersey, sister Deanna Shasteen of Manton; brothers Ronald Herron of Manton, Steven (Nancy) Herron of Manton, Dennis Herron, of Manton, Mark Grogan of Cadillac, Michael Herron of Cadillac, Troy Mackey of Cadillac, several nieces and nephews. Private family services have taken place. Interment will be at the Greenwood Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. The arrangements were entrusted to the Hall-Holdship Funeral Home, Manton.
