Mrs. Julie I. Lenard
Was one of seven children born to the union of the late Marshall McGraw and Inez Nettles McGraw in Dallas, Texas. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She was married at an early age to Sterling Lenard, and to this union four children were born, three daughters and one son. Her son, Derek Lenard, preceded her in death. She was a former member of the Carver Heights Baptist Church. In 1986, she and Brother Lenard became charter members of the Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas under the leadership of Dr. Karry D. Wesley. Sis. Lenard was a faithful member in good standing until her health failed. She was an active member with the Senior Ushers Ministry, Senior Choir, Church School and former Missionary Society. She leaves to cherish her home going: a devoted husband, Sterling Lenard of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Marsha Lee (Robert), Sherri Lenard and Karen Lenard, all of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Carisha, Robert, Jr., Eli and Latoyia; five great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Williams (J. D.); two brothers, Marshall McGraw (Niece) and James McGraw, all of Oakland, California; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbors, other relatives and a family of faith. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
