Julie Henson, 62, passed away Saturday December 3, 2011 in Spanish Fork, Utah with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Payson, Utah to Ralph and Retta Hill Taylor on April 2, 1949.
Julie married Russell Steele and together had 3 children. After he passed away she married Harold Henson, Jr. on April 2, 2004.
Julie loved camping, bowling, crocheting, baking, her grandchildren and spending time on Facebook with her friends and family especially when she was very sick. She also enjoyed singing in the choir and serving in her various church callings such as scout leader and librarian.
She is survived by her husband James Harold Henson Jr.; her children JoAnn Kay (Glen), Ralph Steele and Samuel Steele (Stacy); her step children Jean (Charles) Hastings, Wayne (Sheri-deceased) Steele, Marty (Sherry) Steele, Jesse (Della) Steele, Danny (Joan) Steele, Ella (Brad) Steele, and Tammy L. Henson; her siblings Don (Marian) Taylor, Wendell (Merlene) Taylor, Rick (Lori) Taylor, Bonnie (Fred) Young, Ross Leroy Taylor, Lyle Taylor, and Clay Taylor; 28 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Russell Steele, her sister Janet Taylor and stepson Blaine Steele.
Funeral services will be Friday December 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goshen Ward Chapel, 70 South Center Street, Goshen, Utah. A viewing will be Thursday December 8, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah and on Friday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Goshen City Cemetery.
