Juliette Aymami Sheffield, aged 68 years, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Born and raised in New Orleans, Juliette was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Joseph, Sr. and Edna Anderson Aymami, daughter, Kim Marie Sheffield, sister, Gretchen Aymami, and brother, Thomas Aymami, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Alexander Sheffield III, two sons, Alexander Baron Sheffield (Julie) and William Gormley Sheffield (Tracey), grandchildren, William Alexander Sheffield, Anna Baron Sheffield and Sophie Baron Sheffield, brothers, Andrew Joseph "AJ" Aymami, Jr. (Kathy), John "Jack" Aymami (Barbara), and Joseph Aymami (Linda), sisters, Nathalie Aymami and Naomi Markey (Earl), sister-in-law, Carol Aymami (Thomas), lifelong friend, Jackie Guidry, and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from the Jefferson Parish Water Works after 20+ years, Juliette spent her life caring for all those around her. She was a lifelong member of the Jefferson Salon 535 and Kenner Auxiliary Ladies Association, always donating her time and efforts in making life better for anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all, and her legacy will carry on by those whom in life she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Canon Hospice.
