June A Smith, 85, of Greenacres, FL, died October 17, 2011, at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Lake Worth, FL.
Born in Detroit, MI, she had resided in Stuart from 1974 until June 2011, moving to Greenacres.
She was a retired safety supervisor for Michigan Bell Telephone and had worked for the Stuart Animal Hospital.
She was a corporal in the U. S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict.
She had been a volunteer for Martin Memorial Auxiliary and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by her son, William H. Smith of Lake Worth and sisters, Wilma Cook of Hobe Sound and Marjorie Kelly of Port St. Lucie.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Johnson of Hobe Sound.

SERVICES: Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, October 27, 2011at Forest Hills Funeral Homes-Young and Prill Chapel in Stuart. Inurnment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, with military honors provided by U. S. Air Force.
