June Libby, 88, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011. Born August 10, 1923 in Walla Walla, Washington to Windel J. and Catherine Sarah Tunison McEnespy, she was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, served as secretary for President Ronald Regan during his term of presidency for the Screen Guild, was an avid horseback rider and singer and was active in the Retired Officers Wives Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Libby; sister, Edith Stingar and grandson, David Mark.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacklyn Mark of Hot Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Anna Libby of Royal; three grandsons, Eddie Mark and wife, Tasheana of Hot Springs-, Chris Mark of San Antonio, Texas and Taylor Libby of Royal; five great-grandchildren, Anthony Mark, Kayla Mark, Anna Mark, Kaiden Mark, all of Hot Springs and Isiah Mark of San Antonio, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Leif Anderson, Eddie Mark, Chris Mark, Steve Libby and Nick Strawn. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Gallistel, Dr. Mullens, the nurses of Odyssey Hospice, Susan Gove and Carol Ross.
Visitation will be 2:00-2:30 Friday at Gross Funeral Home chapel with funeral services at 2:30 p.m. with Father Alan Rosenau officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 505 North Parkway, Memphis, TN 38105.
