Junior L." Grumpy". Holt, 78 of Kansas City, MO, passed away on November 30, 2011. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Monday December 5, 2011 at Funeral Home with burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7pm Sunday December 4, 2011 at the Funeral Home. Junior was preceded death by his parents, wife Alice Holt, son Glen Holt, brother Donald Holt, sister Isabelle Adams and granddaughter Jessica Day. Survivors include his children James Coon, Barbara Hall, Donald Holt, Alice Gresham, Paul Clark, John Clark, Diane Moore, Teresa Sanchez, Lenzie Holt, Patricia Day and Ann Hobbs. He has many grandchildren and great- grandchildren and his sister Nancy Blogin. Junior was a Navy Veteran, and an member of the Ararat Shrine. He worked and retired from Santa Fe Railroad. He was a loving family man and had the nickname Grumpy and lived up to it. He was an avid collector of cup's, tools and loved going to auctions and watching western movies.
