Junior Stanley Robert Menelas was born on December 26, 2001 in Leogane, Haiti, to Nadege Boulin and Stanley Menelas. He came to the United States two years ago (2010) and lived in Irvington, New Jersey. Junior passed away on November 8, 2012 in Irvington, New Jersey. Junior began his academics at Louis Borno (Leogane, Haiti). In 2010 he entered Madison Avenue Elementary School and graduated this past June 2012 from the 5th grade. He then attended Union Middle School and was loved by most of his teachers and classmates. Junior was smart, kind, and gentle. He loved to play soccer and drawing. In his spare time he liked to watch Lego Ninjago and other ninja shows. He was a loving big brother; he enjoyed playing with his little brother Jonathan and his twin sisters, Kaylah and Kaylee. Junior is survived by his mother Nadege Boulin and his father Stanley Menelas, his brother Jonathan Menelas, and his sisters Kaylee and Kaylah Menelas; his grandparents Jesula Geneus (still in Haiti), Joseph Boulin and Evelyn Menelas; his uncles Rev. Fr. Jean Wesner Boulin (whom Junior called Papa P*), Jocelyn Boulin, Dimitri Menelas and Roberto Menelas and Yvenel Geneus, and his aunts Josemarlie Boulin, Erodia Menelas, Nerlande Geneus and Elise Boulin. He was also cared for byDoodlyne and Yvelouse Louis-Jean and his cousin Bench Feddy Boulin. Junior was loved by his godmother and cousin Rose Boulin Faustin and his godfather Fritznel Louis. Junior will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Junior was a beloved son and loving brother. He was well loved by his family and numerous friends here in the United States and back home in Haiti. Just imagine everyone*s reaction with the news of his sudden and tragic death! We miss Junior very much and our lives will never be the same without him in it. He was truly a blessing to us and we are forever grateful. We call upon God*s mercy and commend Junior into His hands. May he share in Jesus* victory over death. Our star (Junior Stanley Menelas) is not dead; he simply goes down to rise on a fairer shore.
