K. LYNN PARGIN died on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at UNM Hospital from a long illness. Lynn was born on April 24, 1960 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Albuquerque. She graduated from Highland High School in 1977 and graduated from Bauer Fashion College in Arlington, Texas in May of 1979 with an Associates Degree in Marketing. Lynn was a licensed Real Estate Saleswoman with Pargin Realty, Inc. for some years working in Relocations and Corporate Buy-outs. Lynn made her home for the past 12 years in Tome, NM. She is survived by her parents, Doyle and Margaret Pargin; brother, Dan Pargin and Tracy Vun Kannon. K. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Nelson; her paternal grandparents, Leon and Myrtle Pargin; her uncle, Robert H. Pargin; her maternal grandparents, Michael and Myra Cummins; her aunt, Helen Miller; and her uncle, Louis Cummins. Lynn's aunts, Teresa Moulds and Rita Adkins, were with here at her time of death. The family is thankful for Lynn's friend T. Nils Toland from Chicago, who has assisted Lynn and family during her illness. His loving care and concern are forever appreciated. The family also thanks and acknowledges the doctors, nurses, and staff, ICU Unit G at UNMH. Cremation has taken place. Services will be at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd., NE. A Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011 and a memorial Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Principal Celebrant will be Msgr. Francis X. Eggert - Cousin, Rev. Raymond G. Decker, Santa Rosa, CA will concelebrate the Mass and deliver the Eulogy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brothers of the Good Shepard or a charity of your choice.
