Keith Francis Bollinger, the son of Allan and Clarinda (Hengel) Bollinger was born May 5, 1939 in rural Fenton, Iowa. He passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, Iowa at the age of 73.
He received his education in St. John's Parochial School in Fenton. He graduated from Sentral High School in 1958. He served in the United States Army in France from 1959 - 1962.
On April 12, 1980 he was united in marriage to Frances Kiefer at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville. Keith lived his entire life in the Lotts Creek and rural Fenton area. He was employed at Rohlin Construction in Estherville doing road construction for many years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening, reading, classic cars, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a member of Lotts Creek Lutheran Church and also the Fenton American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Frances of Algona; daughter, Jill of Swea City; brother, Marvin Bollinger of Fenton; brother-in-law, Pete Koenck; sister-in-law, Ann Bollinger and nieces, nephews and other family members.
Preceding Keith in death were his parents, brother, Floyd, sister, Kathleen Koenck and nephew, Tom Bollinger.
