July 16, 1917 – May 1, 2011
Kaete Elisabeth, Ambrosius, Jacobi, 93, of Huntsville passed away Sunday. Her husband Walter preceded her in death in August 2009 and Sister Lori Rott in 2006. She is survived by her nephew Dr. Eng. Martin Rott and wife Renate and three grandnephews, Florian, Stephan and Mathius in Oberschleisheim, Germany.
Kaete was born July 16, 1917 in Kirchhain, Germany. She moved to Fort Bliss, Texas in 1947 to join her husband who was a member of the Dr. von Braun team and transferred to Huntsville in 1950.
Kaete enjoyed her circle of friends that were always so attentive to her in the later years. You know who you are. Our thanks go out to Regency Retirement Village and Huntsville Hospital, doctors, nurses and staff that took such loving care of her. She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church.
The memorial service will be at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church or your favorite charity.
