Mrs. Karen L. Heintzelman, 54, of Dornsife, PA, passed away Thursday, April 22nd, 2010 peacefully at her residence. Karen was born in Sunbury, Pa. on May 23, 1955, the daughter of the late John Newman and Betty (Smith) Newman. She was the wife of Elwood Heintzelman.
She was employed as a Mortgage Broker at Citi Financial and a former Bank Manager at Community Banks. She enjoyed gardening, reading and going to the beach.
Karen is survived by her husband, Elwood Heintzelman of Dornsife, PA; her mother Betty Newman of Herndon, PA. By a daughter, Kristy wife of Ryan Groff of Herndon, PA; a son, Cory husband of Jacinda Heintzelman of Benton, WV. Karen is also survived by four sisters, Alice Yuslum of Wiconisco, PA; , Lydia Gelnett of Meiserville, PA; , Gail Burrow of Harrisburg, PA; , Joann Newman of Dalmatia, PA; a brother, Ricky Newman of Dalmatia, PA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildern
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00AM. at Himmels Church, Rebuck, PA. Religious Service at Himmels Church, Rebuck, Pa., at 11AM on Tuesday, April 27th, Interment at Himmels Church Cemetery, Rebuck, Pa..
