Karl (Fogmeg) St. Charles of Bali, Indonesia, Manhattan, New York, and formerly of Taylor died June 4th in Bali. Born on July 6th, 1945, son of the late Karl and Adell Paroby Fogmeg of Taylor, he was a graduate of Taylor-Moosic High School, Class of 1962, before graduating from Wilkes University with a Masters Degree in Music and Theater. He then received his Doctorate Degree from the Juliard School of Music and Dance in New York City. A master of several musical instruments, he was a worldly pianist who played for the New York Ballet, Philharmonic Orchestra and was an accomplished Orchestral Conductor and Teacher. In 1993, he played at one of the presidential inaugural balls for the former president, William Clinton, and vice president, Al Gore. He was a composer of classical music and composer of many classical C.D.s. Karl was instrumental in writing the lyrics for his high school, now known as Riverside, Alma Mater, which is still played at the school to this day. He is survived by his sister, Donna Woosman and husband Fred of Taylor; his niece; his two nephews; aunts and cousins. His family would like to thank Congressman Lou Barletta and the staff of his Taylor Office for all their help. Funeral services have been held in Bali, Indonesia. Private local arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main Street in Old Forge.
