OBITUARY
KARL WALTER KONST

Mr. Karl Walter Konst, 62, died July 13, 2009 at his home in Vero Beach.

Mr. Konst was born in Hamilton, OH and lived in Vero Beach for 28 years coming from Mariastein, OH.

He was a grauate of Ohio State University.

Mr. Konst served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was Science Teacher and Girls Basketball Coach at Gifford Middle School for 19 years before his retirement in 2000.

Mr. Konst was a member of First Baptist Church of Vero Beach.

Survivors include his son, John Konst of Akron, OH; brothers, Wayne Konst of Peoria, AZ and James Harlan of Delphos, OH and 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Konst was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Konst in 1998.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on July 23, 2009 at Crestlawn Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the Sebastian Area Veterans' "Honor Guard".
