Passed away on December 24, 2011 at the age of 71.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Katherine is survived by her husband Floyd Cox, and was the mother of Colleen (deceased), Donna (Don), Susan, and Pamela (Randy); grandmother of Kelly, Megan, and Amanda; and sister of Harriet West (deceased) and George Buckley.
Katherine was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1955, she relocated with her family to Los Angeles, California and attended Notre Dame High School. Katherine was accomplished in the art of sewing, and enjoyed baking and time spent at the beach. She worked for Merchandising Enterprises in television game show prize production, and also enjoyed her many years working with young children as a teacher's aide for the Santa Monica Unified School District.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Mortuary Chapel, 5835 West Slauson Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230.
