Katherine "Cottie" Brady Duke was born August 26, 1925, in Dallas and died December 16, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends. A lifelong employee of the nation's railroad system, "Kathy," as she was known to her co-workers, loved working with the Texas & Pacific, Union Terminal Company and, most importantly, the Katy Railroad. She is preceded in death by husband Robert "Mac" McMillan, parents Venus and Theo Brady, and sisters Jeanette White and Evelyn Morton. Survived by sister Dollie Kading, niece Gayla Kading-Harlas, nephew-in-law Lou Harlas, and nephew Paul Morton, Jr. As she was greatly loved, she will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas.
