Katherine L. Christie, 84, of Hightstown, NJ, passed away Friday in Meadow Lakes in Hightstown. Born in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Christie was a resident of Teaneck and Iselin before moving to Hightstown in 1958. She was a homemaker and had also worked part time in Real Estate over the years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, the Hightstown Women's Club and the Hightstown Garden Club. Predeceased by her husband, Gustave "Chris" Christie, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Stanley Rodefeld; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Madelyn Christie; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Ernie Adams; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony and Barbara Catania; her grandchildren, Christopher and Ellen Barlow, James and Patricia Barlow, Beth and Anthony Corrato, Lauren Christie, Kimberly and Troupe Mickler, and Jenna Christie; five great-grandchildren, Shannon Barlow, Jack Barlow, Abigail Corrato, Kaylee Corrato and Caroline Barlow. Funeral service will be celebrated 10 am Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, 320 North Main Street, Hightstown, with Reverend Suzanne Schaffer-Coates officiating. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Family and friends may call 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Monday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown.
