Katherine was born July 16, 1915 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and was peacefully called home on October 7, 2011 in Longwood, Florida. She moved to Florida in 1979 and resided the last four years of her life at Island Lake Center (Skilled Nursing Home) in Longwood, Florida, where she was affectionately known as "Special Kay".
She is survived by her daughter: Linda, grandchildren: Kimberly, Rick and Kristen, great-grandchildren: Christopher, Madison and Hannah. She was married to her wonderful husband, William, for 62 years before he passed away in 1998.
A Graveside Service and Personal Memorial Celebration of Her Life will be scheduled at a later date.
