Katherine M. Howard, 92, passed away December 17, 2011. She was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Miles, and was the widow of Edgar P. Howard, Jr. She was an avid bridge player and China painter. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Cooper and husband Car;, one son, John Howard; and two grandchildren, Jael and Leah Cooper. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
