Katheryn Elizabeth Hammond, 95, of Benton, formerly of Conway, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012.
She was born November 29, 1916, in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Arthur Clayton Hammond and Ida Sue Goss Hammond. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Glen Hammond and John D. Hammond, and by her sisters, Gretchen Hammond and Gertrude F. Hammond Pack.
Katheryn was a longtime member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
She worked 20 years for Tuf-Nutt Garment Factory in Little Rock and 20 years at Peyton Creek Fish House in Conway.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
