Kathleen P. Cox, 52, a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 1993, departed this life on October 25, 2011.
She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and moved to Port Saint Lucie from her hometown of Lowell, MA.
She worked in retail sales at Wal Mart in Port Saint Lucie.
She is survived by son Shawn Cox and daughter-in-law, Nikki Cox of Port Saint Lucie; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn; brothers, Terrance and Barbara Kiernan and John and Monica Kiernan; and sisters, Ann DiPalma, Christine and Edwin Martinez, Eileen and Ronald Berube, and Maureen and Gary Bellerose; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy J. Cox, in 2009; as well as parents, Cormick and A. Patricia Kiernan; as well as brothers, Richard Kiernan and Brendan Kiernan.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home Byrd, Young and Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie, FL. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11:00AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Port Saint Lucie.
