Kathleen Piephoff
Greenville, SC

Kathleen Collins Piephoff, 93, widow of James Vernon Piephoff, formerly of Botany Road, died November 5, 2011.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Effie Neal Collins.

Before her retirement in 1975, she was employed as a bookkeeper with Kash and Karry for over thirty years. She was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church and the Joy Ruth Sunday School Class.

Surviving are two step-sons, James Piephoff of Daphne, AL, and Stan Piephoff of Hillsborough, NC; nieces, Nancy Patterson of Gastonia, NC, Judy Stroup of Gaffney, SC, and Diane Cook of Blacksburg, SC; two sisters-in-law, Doris Jean Collins and Winnie Collins; and five step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and Franklin Collins, and a sister, Margaret Collins Norville.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Easley, SC

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary.
