Kathleen S. Brandehoff Moore, 58, died at 2:45 p.m. Feb. 7, 2012, at her residence. She was born Aug. 12, 1953, in Lima to Albert J. and Celeste M. Rekart Brandehoff, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Moore had worked at the Lickity Split. She was a 1971 graduate of Bath High School and attended Lima Technical College for two years. She enjoyed gambling and playing on the computer. She was never at a loss for words and was a loving grandmother. Survivors include two daughters, Kristie (Chad) Fickel, of Elida, and Angela M. Rogel, of Lima; a son, Michael J. (Shannon) Simon, of Jacksonville, Fla.; her partner, Tracy M. Core, of Lima; eight grandchildren; a brother, Michael Brandehoff, of Lima; and her former husband, Billy M. Moore, of Franklin, Texas. Services will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Father Tim Ferris will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic charities. Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com.
