Kathryn "Kay" Hammond Burriss Grayburn 90, widow of the late John E. Grayburn, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012.

Kay was born in Covington, Georgia the daughter of the late George Gibson Hammond and Annie Bess Coley Hammond. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brother by her brother, Dr. G. Robert Hammond of Wilson, NC.

She was a retired manager for Olan Mills Studio of Photography and past officer of the Greenville Does, Drove # 60. She was of the Lutheran Faith.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Kayle Burriss Bond and James D. Bond of Townville and Cindy Burriss Williams and Fitzhugh W. Williams of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Marcus Burriss, Jr. and Ruth Belk Burriss of Anderson; grandchildren, Derek Bond, Kathryn Bond Stewart, Whitney Williams Ellis, Erin Williams Southerlin, Robert M. Burriss, III, Kira Burriss Denardo, Michael A. Burriss, and M. Joshua Burriss; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Anderson.
