Kay Elaine Garrett, of Danville, VA and formerly of Chesapeake, VA, passed away May 22, 2010, in Danville, VA. A native of Chesapeake, VA, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Willie Mae Garrett. She is survived by her niece, Belinda Combs of Danville, VA; two nephews, Richard Cronin, Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA and John Cronin of Silver Springs, MD; a great nephew and three great nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Anne Elizabeth Gibson. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
