Services for Kay Wise Riley, 54, will be conducted at 1 p.m., Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. John Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Independent Bible Church Cemetery in Edmund. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Riley died Thursday, February 19, 2009. Born in Lexington County, the daughter of J.B. and Mary Senn Wise. She was a member of the Chapel by the River, bookkeeper and joint owner of AO, Inc.. Kay was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and loved Jesus so very much.
Surviving are her husband, Miles Riley; her parents of Edmund; son, Jeffrey Allen of Lexington; daughter, Kim (Josh) Uhlar of Lexington; step-children, Austin and Olivia Riley of B-L; brothers, Jerry Wise of Edmund, Gene Wise of Pelion, and Jason Wise of Lexington; grandchildren, Trent, Brentley, Jayda, and Ryan. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy Wise.
