"A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam. And for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it." Infant Kayden Matthew Ames, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at La Porte Hospital. He was born February 12, 2011 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Matthew Ames and Randi (Webb) Ames. He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Randi Ames and sister, Addison Grace all of Rolling Prairie, IN; four grandparents, Richard & Tamara Webb, Dwight & Jody Ames all of Union Mills, IN. Kayden was preceded in death by his sister, Kayla Grace Ames. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday February 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Richard Scroggin officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to: The Family of Kayden M. Ames.
