IN MEMORY OF KAYE AND HER BATTLE WITH CANCER, THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED THAT YOU WEAR SOMETHING PINK TO HER FUNERAL. Passed away at her residence on Saturday September 3, 2011. Beloved wife of Alvin J. Smith, loving mother of Russell (Susan) Smith of Springfield, VA and Diane (Phil) Mundy of Roanoke, VA., sister of Robert Earl Autery , Patsy Dominey, Dorothy Nell Duty, Billy Joe Autery, Becky Lou Bitner and the late B.A. Autery, also survived by 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Courtenay, Christopher, Shawn, Sarah and Brett, and 1 great grandson, Joseph William Mundy. Friends may call at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr., Alexandria, VA. 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral service at Parkwood Baptist Church, 8726 Braddock Rd., Annandale, VA on Wednesday September 7 at 11 AM. Interment Mt. Comfort Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
