I first got to know KG (as we all called him) when I started working at Old Dominion University in 1975 in the Resident Architect's office which was right next door to the Property Control Dept where KG worked. I will never forget his kindness, I was young and shy and he took me under his wing and showed me the ropes. He had a great sense of humor and kept us all laughing even when work got the better

I will never forget his kindness, I was young and shy and he took me under his wing and showed me the ropes. He had a great sense of humor and kept us all laughing even when work got the better of us. He was a wonderful man, very caring and generous and would do anything for anyone. I am so glad that I got the chance to meet such a great man who definitely left his mark on this earth.

Terry, You and your family are in my thoughts in this time of sorrow. Your dad was obviously quite a "character". His was a life well lived and full of rewarding experiences. You have my sympathy.

Isn't it wonderful to think that 'Larger than Life' Riley and his loving and happy Pris could be together again in a place that they both loved? K.G.and I served on the VB Rescue Squad for many years. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. We delivered a baby together in front of the old "Jet Cleaners" on First Colonial Rd. The lady named the baby after us, "Donald Keith". I will miss seeing K.G. at all of the Squad functions. God Bless K.G. Riley. I will miss you my friend.
