Ken T. Morgan, 84, of Sandston, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife; Elsie Morgan. He is survived by his two daughters; Patricia Snead and husband Lawrence, Lisa J. Morgan, son; Ken T. Morgan, Jr. and wife Toni, brother; Robert L. Morgan, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mr. Morgan was a former employee of Lynn Pontiac Co. and retired owner of Morgan’s Amoco Station on Nine Mile Road next to East Gate Mall. A WWII War Veteran and served on the USS Power DD-839, a proud member of the Tin Can Sailor Association and a member of the New Bridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, June 29, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue. A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, June 30 at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Foundation, 4600 Cox Rd, #130, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
