Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth A. Ledbetter, 72, of Piedmont will be Friday, April 20, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Chaplain Jon Guthery officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Ledbetter passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Carol Ledbetter; two daughters, Donna Taylor (Dennis) of Dallas, GA and Janeen McCormick (Hayes) of Cartersville, GA; one son, Walker Scott Ledbetter (Malinda) of Cartersville, GA; daughter-in-law, Angie Ledbetter of Cartersville, GA; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce Stewart, Carol Hall (Walker), Glorias Steed and Kathy Austin (Keith) all of Piedmont; one brother, Mike Ledbetter (Teresa) of Spring Garden; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ledbetter was a Piedmont resident, was of the Baptist faith and had served as a deacon in the Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Piedmont Rescue Squad, loved to sing and had been a member of a gospel quartet for several years. He was preceded in death by a son, Neal Ledbetter; and his parents, Jennie and Alvin Ledbetter.
