KENNETH SEYMOUR Kenneth Carl "Kenny" Seymour, 54, resident of 1008 Grumling Road, husband of Angela Leopard Seymour, died January 1, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood County, December 9, 1955, he was a son of the late Guy and Betty Hughes Seymour. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and formerly owned and operated Seymour Oil Company. He was more recently employed with Jerry's Awnings. A member of the Ninety Six Church of God, he was also a member of Mathews Masonic Lodge #358. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two sisters, Diane and husband, Ricky Higginbotham and Debbie and husband, Joe Dennin, all of Greenwood; a brother, Dennis and wife, Elaine Seymour of Greenwood; a number of special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Chavis and Rev. Bobby Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ricky Higginbotham, Joe Dennin, Roger Leopard, Blake Seymour, Adam Higginbotham, Vince Baker, Jerry Roberts, Sr., and Jerry Roberts, Jr. Honorary escort will be Steve Coleman, Butch Cunningham, Roger Timms, Jeff Dixon, Patrick Timms, Lynn Rushton, Lonnie Alexander and Dan Wooten, along with nieces Kristi Seymour, Kayla Dennin, Kara Grace Higginbotham, Katie Seymour and Bryte Seymour. The family is at the home of Dennis and Elaine Seymour, 1436 Cokesbury Road and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
