Kenneth E. "Rusty" Rodenbeck, 83, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked in accounting for Magnovox for 39 years, retiring in 1989. After retiring, he was a grounds keeper for Brookwood Golf Course for 20 years. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, an avid golfer and he loved his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, LaDonna Jeanne Rodenbeck of Fort Wayne; sons, Kerry (Brenda) Rodenbeck, Kent L. Rodenbeck, Scott (Michelle E. ) Rodenbeck, all of Fort Wayne; brother, Donald (Shar) Rodenbeck of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Anna, Karen, Joshua, David and Daniel Rodenbeck. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold & Dorothy Rodenbeck. Service is 11am Wednesday, at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with Rev. Mike Harris officiating, calling one hour prior. Calling also, 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
