Kenneth J. Gosselin, 64, of Westerly, RI, formerly of Grafton, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday August 6, 2011 surrounded by his family. He leaves his daughter, Tracy K. Gosselin of Durham, NC and son, Jamison J. Gosselin of Alexandria, VA; brothers Richard O. Gosselin and his wife Judith of North Grafton, Stephen P. Gosselin and his wife Deborah of North Grafton and John W. Gosselin and his wife Eileen of Northbridge and long term companion Terry Johnson of Westerly, RI, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Ken was a builder and developer in Worcester County for 40 years. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1964 and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force both in the U.S. and Vietnam for four years. Upon leaving the military, Ken was active in the American Legion and VFW. Ken was an avid boater and enjoyed fishing while spending time on Block Island, RI with family and friends. He got his private pilot's license while stationed in Minot, ND and was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). Ken's family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers of Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island for the excellent care and compassion shown to Ken. It was Ken's wish that any memorial contributions be made to this hospice at Home and Hospice Care 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or online at www.hhcri.org. Funeral & Calling Hours A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday August 11th at 11:00am at St. James Church 89 Main St. S. Grafton MA 01560. He will then be laid to rest with Military Honors at Fairview Cemetery in S. Grafton. All attending the Funeral Mass are politely requested to go directly to the church. All are invited to calling hours for Ken Wednesday August 10th from 5pm to 8pm at RONEY FUNERAL HOME 152 WORCESTER ST. N. GRAFTON MA 01536.
