Kenneth "Kenny" Morgan, age 87 of Concordia, Missouri died on Monday, June 3, 2013, at his home.

Born Wednesday, November 18, 1925, he was the son of Francis L. Morgan and the late Mary Callaway Morgan. He married Marcine Wood on November 8, 1952.

Mr. Morgan worked at Ford Motor Company in Claycomo until he retired in 1982. He also farmed his family farm. He served in the Army during WWII and was awarded 2 Bronze Stars.

He was a member of Concordia Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Corder V.F.W. Mr. Morgan was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife Marcine of the home, sons, Greg (Stephanie) Morgan of Higginsville, MO and Doug (Carrie) Morgan of Higginsville, MO, sisters, Mary F. (Vernon) Frerking of Concordia, MO and Ann Nuelle of Higginsville, MO; 6 grandchildren, Misti (Stanton) Runyan, Capt. Mandi Morgan, Brooke Kirchhoff, Dane (Madie) Plymell, Amanda Long and McKenzie Morgan ; 4 great grandchildren, Emily Runyan, Katrina Runyan, Gentry Kirchhoff and Marley Plymell.

There will be a Memorial service at the Concordia Baptist Church in Concordia, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 7, 2013 with Celebrant John Cox officiating, Joyce Woodrich pianist and Misti Runyan vocalist. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Inurnment will be in the Higginsville City Cemetery.
