Kenneth Konrad Kramer, 77, passed away suddenly June 24, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy; daughter, Jennifer Gibson; son, Jeffrey Kramer and wife Cindy; and brother, Robert Kramer. He was born in Hollis, L.I., NY on October 18, 1933, and made Virginia Beach his home for the past 29 years. Ken graduated from The Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn with a degree in civil engineering and worked with Parsons Brinckerhoff in Norfolk until his retirement. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, Friday, July 1, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the foundation established in the memory of Ken's daughter's husband: Joegibsonmemorialfoundation.com.
